Position : Senior RF System Design Engineer

JOB Description:
***RF (or microwave) and RF (system approach) transceivers design including team management of junior RF design engineers.
***RF module design of complete module (transmit and receive including sub-parts selection and definition in line with overall requested performance) is mandatory.
***RF module design solution must be dedicated to a high volume market (at least 20k parts per year) and successfully introduced in stabilized production with significant life time.
***Use of Simulation and CAD tools as well as test & measurement equipment must be perfectly understood and practiced: Vector Network analyzer, Scalar Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer.
***Deliver documentation as required by customer (Design and Interface Specifications, Test plans and Test Reports)
Requirement of Skills / Experience:
***Minimum 5 years working RF (systems) design experience (should include at least 5 years in electronics, minimum 3-4 years being dedicated to RF or microwave design)
***Minimum 1-2 years as successful technical leader for RF (or microwave) design team
***Well established knowledge of wireless communications, RF and associated Regulatory and Industry standards
***Proven RF design and RF system architecture experience / knowledge
***RF (microwave) Transceiver and System level design, verification and testing is mandatory. Design for cost reduction is an asset
***Team player who can interface well with other design and project teams (i.e. project management, Digital & SW design, Production and Test, QA)
*** Good communication skills
***Proficiency in English is an asset
Position : RF Design Engineer

JOB Description:
***RF (or microwave) transceivers design: from basic parts to RF lineup, on equipment dedicated from start to high volume markets (at least 20k parts per year).
***RF module design which include both transmitting and receiving functions (if possible related to a wireless communication standard such as Wifi, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, CDMA or UMTS, TDD or FDD)
***Use of Simulation and CAD tools as well as test & measurement equipment must be perfectly understood and practiced: Vector Network analyzer, Scalar Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer
Requirement of Skills / Experience:
***Minimum 2-3 years working design experience (should include at least 1-2 years in electronics, minimum one full year being dedicated to RF or microwave design)

Position : Digital H/W Design Engineer
Department: NPI&SCE
JOB Description:
***To perform parts of the modules/boards specifications and to handle all the steps of a HW design including, component selection, schematics definition, including timing and signal integrity analysis, and schematic capture (Concept/Allegro), test definition and prototype validation
***To design FPGA modules, including VHDL code writing, simulation and tests on target
***To be involved in general test software development
***Deliver documentation as required by customer (Design and Interface Specifications, Test plans and Test Reports)
Requirement of Skills / Experience:
***3 years design experience
***VHDL & C language Programming is mandatory
***Working knowledge of telecommunications environment, Regulatory and Industry standards is a necessity
***Knowledge of communication components (i.e. PQx Processor, ASIC, FPGA, DSP)
***Digital / Analog circuit and board level design, verification and test.
***HW / SW system level design and test (Design for cost reduction is an asset)

Position : Physical Concept: Mechanical Engineer
Department: NPI&SCE
JOB Description:
***To take the mechanical sub-set (telecom modules and cabinet) of a project requirement (concept and/or detailed design such as tolerances and clearances information), from a mechanical and interconnect/cabling point of view.
***To develop mechanical concept based on requirements and take through eventually the control of one or several contract manufacturers and to document it within customer manufacturing requirements.
***Deliver documentation as required by customer (Design and Interface Specifications, Test plans and Test Reports)
Requirement of Skills / Experience:
***3 years design experience.
***Good knowledge in thermal, electro-technical and power supplies is necessary.
***Proven experience working with contract manufacturers and other project groups (Design, Project managers, QA, Production and Test, Supply chain) is a necessity.
***Working knowledge of telecommunications environment, Regulatory and Industry performance standards is an asset.
***Good trouble-shooting and analytical skills.
***Basic understanding of English is an asset.
